SITE was tasked with developing a new transport trolley for SSAB Luleå that should be able to carry test weights of a total of 2 tons and make it easier for the staff to transport and test weigh the transmitters. In the project, we have also carried out CE marking with a test lift.

About the project
SSAB has previously had challenges when they transported test weights used to weigh the transmitters. Where each test weight weighs 500 kg.
In consultation with SSAB, we then came to the conclusion that we should make a fence that can carry four weights at a time, i.e. 2 tons. The hedge must have wheels so that it is possible to move the weights even where the tractor cannot reach and secure them so that the weights lie still and do not move around when the tractor transports the weights.
By CE-marking the transport trolley, it is ensured that the product meets the essential health, environmental and safety requirements.
